Julian & Sons

- Founded 1985 -

We are a family business specializing in design and fine custom woodworking. Our firm is nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in North Central Arkansas.

In 1985, Tom Julian transitioned from building Craftsman style homes to pursuing his lifelong love of fine cabinetry and woodworking. After watching and learning from his own father, Tom’s son, Joe, has followed in his footsteps as well, joining him as a master designer and cabinetmaker.

Our background in construction, and artistic vision, enriched by extensive travel, has enabled Julian & Sons to take our work beyond just cabinetmaking. We love to help people tell their stories by creating spaces where they can display the things they love—whether it be art, wine, taxidermy, firearms, artifacts, or books. The spaces immediately feel personal and intimate, because they are an extension of the homeowner’s
personality.

We work closely with our clients and their team of professionals to make sure every detail is just right.

“We are creating a legacy of well-made things that we are proud to pass on, because in each is part of who we are and what we believe in.”

The magic is in the details. We design and build complete environments, from custom furniture-grade cabinetry to finished architectural milling and woodwork. At Julian & Sons, we love the idea of, “Conservation
through Craftsmanship,” the simple yet powerful notion that we must build things for the long-haul, not the landfill.

A perfect example of this is our Overland Chest, which is a locker for your guns, fly rods and other essential field gear, while also serving as a portable tailgating bar. It is a true heritage product designed and built to pass on from one generation to the next. We jokingly advise our customers to make sure they will it to an heir, otherwise their family will fight over it when they’re gone. Julian & Sons is an investment in YOUR present and future.
